Ghosts of I-95 is an extended meditation on the feeling of disconnect I felt upon returning to New England for a visit after four and a half years living in Switzerland. It all felt so very familiar, but so alien at the same time. Trying to come to terms with the strange and emergent emotions from internalizing this landscape that was once home.
It is a mix of songs, soundscapes and auditory impressions of emotions; your mileage may vary...
The Tracks Ghosts of I-95, Replaced by Unease, Only Echoes of an Old Home , and Now You Can See the Road from Battery-103 were my entry for the 2023 RPM Challenge... Only a decade after my last RPM Entry. The meditation continued further and all further tracks were completed later.
